With 25+ years experience in the telecommunications industry, Dr. Ray Mota brings a talent for complex technical and critical thinking and provides strategic direction, sharp analysis, and expert advice on networking issues, specializing in design, implementation, and troubleshooting. Ray has developed a vast network of influential relationships with telecom industry executives, financial advisors, and key New York Stock Exchange Board members, which has strengthened his solid reputation for professionalism among his peers in the industry.

Prior to NGBM, Ray honed his industry experience and expertise as a user, manager, and network integrator. His management career is highlighted by the strong direction and advice, as well as his commitment to maximizing organizational efficiency and empowering others to succeed, that he provided during his tenures at Aberdeen Group, ManageAll, Micros-To-Mainframes, Advanced Technology Group, and Eastman Kodak.
Routinely called upon to speak as a guest lecturer throughout the country, Ray is recognized as an expert in topics relating to networks, data center management, operational efficiency, and business models. He has been the keynote speaker for Internet World (Amsterdam), E-Services World (Paris), Business Journal Summit, and Hewlett Packard Executive 2000. He has also been a presenter at the Columbia Business School. His commentaries and analyses have been published in The Wall Street Journal, Bloomberg, Telecom Magazine, MSNBC, CNN Money, Forbes, Fortune, NY Times, and the SF Chronicle.
Ray’s numerous professional affiliations include the Princeton University Club; MIT Enterprise Forum; National Association of Rocketry; and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE).

Ray holds five amateur baseball World Series titles and has coached at the Arizona Diamondback Training Center. His successful baseball career inspired him to write Maximum Ability, (Lulu.Com, 2005), which focuses on mind power and using the cognitive abilities involved in sports to achieve excellence in not only the athletic arena but also in business fields and in other aspects of a person’s life.
