What is TEE's mission and vision statement?
The mission of the TOS is "to provide a set of recommendations and strategies to enhance the ability of telecom providers and operators in building effective and efficient business models in today’s 2.0 world, and enhancing service provision to the benefit of their customers. To advance the innovation and evolutionary guidelines in the provisioning of global telecommunications services mainly from a business/economic perspective The vision of the TOS is "to provide a platform for technological and economic innovation, including Web 2.0 approaches and technologies, that impact telecom players’ business models, architectures and solutions, value chains and value networks.
What are the objectives of the TEE?
The major goal of the TOS is to create a successful global ecosystem for next-generation networks and services and to establish an open dialog for innovation with strategists in the field. The TOS will aim at establishing performance goals, basic recommendations, deployment scenarios for next-generation networks based on new business models. The TOS aims to ensure that the relevant process/business standards, network infrastructures, and best practices for the delivery of services, are provided with timely information and resources. It aims to develop an effective global sourcing strategy that meets business goals and objectives, and not just cost savings, and to learn from failure and success scanrios by networking with business peers, vendors and third parties involved in the value creation.
